what you think
This is so awesome! The books have been out only a few weeks, and it seems as though some of you have already gotten around to reading them!
Not only have I been getting your e-mails and comments, but there are even some reviews on amazon.de already:
For some reason, so far all of them seem to be very good:
I am always excited to hear what you think – thank you so much guys!

Hey Christoph,
I saw the advertisement in the newest National Geographic in Germany for your picture-book. As I looked closer into google about this trip, I found your youtube video and then I found out that you have written a book about the blog.
Because I’m very interested in Chinese Culture and Landscape and have the dream of wandering along the Great Wall (actually I married and my wife wont let me go within the first years of marriage), I was very excited about a book of someone who did such a long walk.
So far I “only” reached site nr. 50 of your book, but I don’t want to read to fast, so I can enjoy your trip for some more time (I really have to control myself not to read it within one day, it’s much too short for me, so I will try one to three chapters a day… )
I think the best way to read your books is:
a) First read some days of your blog to get an overview (damn, I shouldn’t have read your last days in china first, now I know why the trip ended.)
b) then read about these days in your book to get a look “behind the scenes”
c) then take a look into your picture book and see, what you have talked about.
I will give my final commentary as soon as I finished your book, but after reading the first chapters I think you have been a big playboy in china ;-), well lets see how it’s going on!

Edit: Sadly the picture book costs about 40,- €. I know it is a big book with many pictures, but it’s to expensive for me, so I have to look at the pictures inside your blog, maybe the book get’s cheaper one day. (The text-book is also a little bit expensive for a hard-cover book, but I think the price was not your decision).
