Went to the grocery store today. And still, after all these years, I was amazed of how humongous it was:

Dwarfed by the size of the lair, I got out my blessed blade (which some may call credit card) and slew the wretched beast. When I came out, I was covered in sweat, but I had retrieved a bag of M&Ms and a weird looking can of soda pop.

It was now time to go to my all-time favorite burger restaurant:

It’s called Spangles, and it’s apparently a Kansas thing. I remember them having a commercial with a blonde holding a 1/3 pounder, saying: “Too big? I don’t think so!”

I told the guys who worked there that I was from Germany and that I wished for them to achieve world domination, so they generously invited me in to take a group picture:

Great success!

Then I topped it off by getting a few donuts in another place…

…and going to the liquor store – for the first time in my life:

I will tell you tomorrow what’s in that brown paper bag.
