Wednesday, May 25th, 2011Two years ago, the TV came to me:
Actually, it was just a few dudes with some cameras. They requested an interview and showed up at my house.
So I took them to one of my favorite hang-outs:
This is a place where I have spent many an afternoon of my childhood:
I was still a wreck at the time of the interview, but I somehow managed to utter a few words on camera, so I felt pretty relieved when we were done.
I asked the TV guys to send me a copy of the interview once they had broadcasted it, and they said okay, but I never received my copy.
…
After that, 2 years went by.
…
And here I am, a little fatter and much less wrecked, in a tiny little town with the ridiculous name of Baden-Baden:
It’s very beautiful around here, and especially Russians seem to like it ever since old Dostoevsky lost all of his money in the local casino:
I didn’t come for gambling though, I came for a TV interview.
This time, I got invited to a studio:
So I put on my old walking shirt (I don’t think anybody even noticed) and wandered about the place.
They apparently…
hosted…
…a lot of…
cooking shows:
After hours and hours of waiting, I finally got seated in a well-lit spot, and then suddenly the interview was on:
I said something along the lines of: “Uh, yeah, I like walking.”
Being a rather timid type of person, I was very happy once the whole thing was over.
I managed to sneak in a picture with the huge phone:
The TV guys told me they would send me a copy of the show after they had broadcasted it.
“You do that!” I said happily.
And then I went home.
