Believe it or not, Germany even has a few original vodka brands. I was going to try out two of them today:

Wodka Gorbatschow Blue Label. It actually tastes okay when it’s kept cold, but unfortunately reveals its flaws at room temperature: a rough finish and a strong aftertaste. I would give it a 4 out of 10.

Proceeding to the next contestant was a bit harder:

Fürst Uranov. This one has an infamous reputation for being the cheapest vodka around. Tastes like a disinfecting agent, which might make it even hardly tolerable in a mixed drink – but then, what did we expect? Is it a 1 out of 10? Or a 2 out of 10? I am yet undecided.
