In my quest for the exploration of more little water, I tried two interesting vodka brands today.

The first one was Русский Стандарт (Russian Standard) - Platinum edition:

Русский Стандарт is the little sister of Imperia, the luxury brand that I had tried this summer, and apparently ranks among the most acclaimed and best selling vodkas in Russia. This Platinum edition promised to be even better than the original, but to my surprise I didn’t like it that much. I gave it a 6 out of 10, because the flavor was nowhere near as smooth as I would have expected it to be.

The second brand I tried was Зелёная Марка (Green Mark):

This is also one of the most popular brands in Russia, and man is this some good vodka!

The taste is so smooth, and the aroma so voluminous, this vodka takes you directly to a Russian dinner table and puts a slice of dark bread in your hand. A 10/10!
