Wow… 365 days… a year…

People were singing in the backyard of my hotel:

I don’t think they were singing for me though…

I celebrated with what could have very possibly been the best 饺子 (jiaozi – dumplings) I ever had:

Their skin was delicate and shiny, and they were filled with wild herbs, which had been collected in the mountain ranges of the 天山 (Tianshan).

陈家人 (the Chen family), friends of 辉辉 (Huihui) were responsible for this magnificent recipe:
