I(H)C35 – The Tempting Veil

I miss China, and I miss walking around.

…one time in the spring of 2006 I got a ticket to 山海关 (Shanhaiguan), where the Great Wall dives into the Yellow Sea. I should have been sitting in class that day, but instead I decided to take a little while off and follow the winding old dragon along its way west.

I walked and I walked. I didn’t eat much, and when I was tired I just lay down somewhere.

It was one beautiful week:

June 12th 2006, 长城的æŸä¸€æ®µ (somewhere along the Great Wall).

I dare not lift the veil of my memories any further.

My heart might shatter.

Soundtrack: Kano – “Bad Boy”

    A tempting veil.
    A tempting thought.
