fair weather friend
9°C + rain + wind = shitty weather.
It sucks pretty bad these days… I mean come on, it’s almost June and I have to turn on the RADIATOR in my room? Wear a sweater? Wasn’t there supposed to be a global warming??
Time for some pictures from sunnier days a few weeks ago!
One sunday morning, I noticed a furry friend living very close to my balcony:
Can’t see him in this picture?
Well he is there, enjoying the sunlight, hanging out in the tree…
…ever so cool:
Does he hate this nasty weather too? Or does he even care?
Come to think of it, I really haven’t seen him for a while.
Wonder where he went.

It’s nice and sunny in Estonia at the moment (about 24C) but they said that we’ll have -7C to 5C next week. I guess the cold is leaving the Germany and coming to us soon. : ( Good thing I’ll be starting my walk to south soon.

ZMH: Is Beijing cold too?? Well, you could always go and have a heart-warming 火锅, right? :)
Kuldar: Hey, great to hear you’ll be walking soon!! One question: I would really like an Estonian translation of the help section of the site – you probably don’t have much time these days, but maybe you know someone who might be willing to help? :)

Sure I can help. : ) I translated the Help page here http://kraam.kalvik.ee/longestwayinestonia.html

Hey Kuldar, thank you so much, really cool!!
If you send me a picture of yourself I would like to add you to my “support” page! :)
Where exactly will you be walking? To Africa?

it is (almost) summer now, but back before may, it was cold, around 10°C, and groomy too.
Plus, growing up in hubei at least taught me this: you can have 火锅 any time in the year, even in the hottest summer days :D

Hey, glad I could help. Here’s a random picture of me. : ) http://kraam.kalvik.ee/peace1.jpg
And yeah, right now the plan is to start walking on the first of June and keep walking for howeverlong it takes to get to Africa. ( morocco to be exact. )
I made a website about it called thewalktoafrica.com but it’s all in Estonian because my family and grandparents who really want to know what’s going on, can’t understand english. I was thinking about creating a english version as well but it’s been on hold for now.

The site looks really cool, too bad I can’t understand it though!
Are you going to pass through Germany? Stop for a drink? :)
May 23rd, 2010 at 08:59
Yeah, I’ll be passing Germany on the way. Although I don’t know where you live – I’ll probalby go trough north-germany ( http://thewalktoafrica.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/reisiplaaaan.png ) So if you’re somewhere around there I would love to stop by for a drink ; )
