Hundreds of thanks for this posting. With the present course of things happening everywhere that you look around, we need more real heroes to rescue our future, so let me say this... you are a hero that remind us that there is another way of doing things, see things and feel things. Thanks you again for sharing this epic journey!!! :-)

Hi Chris, I really enjoyed your photos! Made me want to visit Hungary. Sorry that old toad (井底之蛙=P) had the audacity to assume you would sympathize with him because you're German . Old generations might associate Germans with fascism, but when my friends and I meet travelers from your country we're always struck by their happy wanderlust and good attitude, and that's what sticks in our minds. No doubt it's the same for most everyone else :).
Take care!

You don't know who I am, and frankly, I only "know" you through your video and this website. But I feel that I'm obligated to thank you for inspiring me to do my own walking trip, and saying thanks just for being as cool and inspiring as you are. Keep going on, and who knows, maybe I'll bump into you one day when I'm walking on my own!

And what a great blog update this was. Hungary is a beautiful, beautiful place, and you gave it all the respect it deserves!

Cheers from Norway.

Sigh... I have been confronted by some idiotic Schulzes on the road too. I guess they pretty soon realize that even tough I might be german, it's not much fun talking about fascism with me. But it leaves me saddened and frustrated every time.

Thanks for the interesting read and marvellous pictures... a pleasure as ever stopping by here... Keep it up.
