I did something very brave and honorable today: I went to the supermarket.
By myself.

“Добрый день!” (Good day!) I would say, then point at something and ask: “Это русский продукт?” (Is this a Russian product?).

So eventually I got all this:

• kvass
• lemonade
• berry juice
• bread
• fish
• sausage
• 3 corn cobs
• a bar of chocolate

…and of course:

Спасская Даль (Spasskaya Dahl).

This vodka is produced here in the area, a genuine local product – exactly what I was looking for. Tasted pretty good, too! I’ll give it a 7/10.
