I(H)C06 β Dreams
Zhuhai in the South of Guangdong is a place of romance: honeymooners come here from all over the country to enjoy the beautiful parks and the seaside view.
They are coming for a dream:
Zhuhai, March 5th 2006.
Other people come here for other things – most of them are businessmen from nearby Hong Kong and Macao, and it doesn’t seem to be a coincidence that the number of prostitutes in the city has been constantly rising over the last few decades.
I personally don’t think that there is anything wrong with purchasable love.
But it doesn’t leave any room for dreams.

I like how you wrote the last two sentences. Very poetic.

purchasable love: doesn't seem so bad for the purchaser. but what of those being purchased? what kind of life is that?

jeanie: Hm… maybe it depends on the person and on the circumstances. What do you think?
