sleep without air

It’s not like I can’t live anymore. After all, I’m a big guy who has walked through the desert. I can live, I can eat, I can work, and I can even find some dreamless sleep at night.

Waking up feels like being pushed under water though.

it's not unusual and it will pass. a depression after a huge task you have managed.

one day life will be beautiful again.

sounds like clichés, but its very true, believe me.

I have a lot of experience in relationship endings but no experience walking through the desert.

A combination of the two. you have lost someone. and you have lost your way, not walking for awhile. you will no doubt feel a bit lost these days, but like claudia says, it will pass, in time.

set small goals for yourself to accomplish each day while home. each day brings a new set of things to look forward to and accomplish. days pass, and then turn into weeks. weeks turn into months, and you will soon be back, walking your way across the world, and making wonderful pictures once more.

and all will begin to seem right again.

    LORD OF THE RINGS

    Frodo: There's something down there.

    佛罗多：下é¢æœ‰ä»€ä¹ˆä¸œè¥¿

    Gandalf: It's Gollum.

    Frodo: Gollum?

Gandalf: He's been following us for three days.

Frodo: He escaped the dungeons of Barad-Dûr?

    Gandalf: Escaped…or was set loose.

Gandalf: Now the Ring has brought him here. He will never be rid of his need for it. He hates and loves the Ring, as he hates and loves himself. Sméagol's life is a sad story.

Gandalf: Yes, Sméagol he was once called. Before the Ring found him. Before it drove him mad.

Frodo: It's a pity Bilbo didn't kill him when he had the chance.

    佛罗多：真å¯æƒœæ¯•å°”åšåœ¨æœ‰æœºä¼šçš„时候没有æ€äº†ä»–

Gandalf: Pity? It was pity that stayed Bilbo's hand. Many that live deserve death, and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them, Frodo? Do not be too eager to deal out death and judgment. Even the very wise cannot see all ends. My heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet, for good or ill, before this is over. The pity of Bilbo may rule the fate of many.

å³ä¾¿æœ€æ™ºæ…§çš„人也ä¸èƒ½çœ‹åˆ°æ‰€æœ‰çš„结局。

Frodo: I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world Frodo besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring, in which case you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought.

I stumbled onto your site many months ago and have been checking in occasionally wondering how far you've gotten. I'm sure there's lots of people like me, checking in, checking out, checking in, etc.

It's just amazing what you've accomplished, and FYI it's a way for people like me to ponder for a moment – sitting at the office, or a desk, or with a laptop in Starbucks – all those things we never did but wished we did.

    I'm glad you'll never have to say "I should've done that when I had a chance…"

So – bravo on the whole grandness of it all.

Bravo on getting as far as you got.

Bravo on giving all those people you ran into a story to tell their children.

Bravo on figuring out whatever it was you were figuring out.

Bravo on sharing it with all of us strangers.

About the girl? Well, as my grandfather once told me, "Women are like streetcars. Just when you think you missed the last one, there's another one coming down the street."
