it’s all in the family
day 334: 刘/杨陕西补胎 (liu/yang‘s tire-repair) – 于陕西补胎 (yu‘s tire-repair) = 34,9km
The night had been good. No filth, no noise. All I could hear was the wind blowing outside, which made for a very cozy feeling in my little room.
…but still, I really didn’t feel like walking anymore, so today it was all about the road signs:
…another 100km through those empty spaces…
Sometimes I would see a mine building or something in the distance:
And every now and then a road sign would indicate that I was slowly getting closer:
The new highway I had been walking on yesterday hadn’t been completed yet in this area:
It wasn’t that good to walk on, so I eventually just stuck to the road:
…and kept on walking like I imagined the camels would do – slowly, but at constant speed.
Then eventually I got to another 陕西补胎 (Shaanxi tire-repair):
The people from yesterday’s place had been telling me about this one.
Apparently, they were all family.
[PS: I finished redesigning the whole "portfolio" section of the site. Now it's one picture for every month on the road, and it should load much faster than before. Enjoy!]
Soundtrack: Mr. Lif – “Ol’ Crew”

Alter Falter!

Barry aka Ba Lli: Sorry, wenig Zeit.
