day 200: 天祝藏族自治县 (Tibetan self-governed township of Tianzhu) - = 0km
When I had come back from dinner late last night, and started going through the 300+ photographs I had taken in the mountains (most of them with yaks on them), I realized that there was no way that I would continue walking and post a journal today.
So I stayed.
Sometime in the afternoon I went out into the world of the living:
Although this particular scene should have rather been called the world of the drinking - at 15:22 in the afternoon.
Of course I didn’t join in on the fun, instead I went looking for some noodles for a late lunch:
Then I visited 华藏寺 (huazang temple), a Lama place of worship in the center of 天祝 (tianzhu) that had been reconstructed numerous times during the last century:
It was nice to look at anyways:
See the monk circling around the main temple hall?
He is doing this every day:
I sat there watching, and the place was really quiet and I could hear the monk’s steps and his mumbling prayers when he went past:
Guess how many circles he completed today?

…hmmm, schmatz, lecker, Bier…!
(ich find es immer so schön, wenn Du Dein Licht so unter den Scheffel stellst: GlückKönnen! Ich weiß genau, was Du drauf hast, wie Du die Komposition eines Bildes beurteilen kannst, was Du ein Gespür für das Feeling eines Bildes hast!)

Martin T.: Der Unterschied - bei mir ist es Glück, bei denen von GEO, NG, etc. ist es Können.
Barry: Ich trink ja keinen Alkohol, aber eins fällt mir trotzdem auf - warum lassen die das ganze Zeug in der Sonne stehen, wenn sie es sich auch schön eins nach dem andern gekühlt servieren lassen könnten?

“world of the drinking” - einfach ein umwerfendes Foto, strahlt eine unheimlich große Wucht aus (Himmel, Gebäudekomplex) und gleichzeitig eine zeitanhaltende Gelassenheit durch die beiden relaxten Kerle am Tisch!!! - einfach atemberaubend!!

Kommt natürlich auf die Zeit an, die sie sich gesetzt haben. Aber im Prinzip hast Du recht und ich denke, die machen Schluss wenn dat Ding alle ist.
Dann sind die dafür voll!

Einfach immer Sssupper-Fottos! Zum Beispiel “Word of the drinking”: So ein gelber Tisch! Wird für ein normales GEO-Foto wahrscheinlich extra angestrichen & samt der Trinker passend drapiert. Einfach gelungen!

Florian: Am Ende bist du nah dran. Der Mönch braucht keine Hilfsmittel, der kann das so. Die Laien, die auch öfter mal den Schrein umkreisen, legen Steinchen an der Pforte ab, für jede Umkreisung ein Steinchen. Habe ich auch photographiert, leider aber nicht in den Blog gepackt.
Gisela: Viele Leute hier tragen Ärmelschoner bei der Arbeit, zum Beispiel auch die Fruchtverkäuferinnen oder die Bäuerinnen. Ist wohl einfach praktisch.
Barry: Ich finde, die beiden haben sich mit dem Träger da auf dem Tisch schonmal ein ehrgeiziges Ziel gesetzt.
