dizzy in pink
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008day 194: 土槽湾 (tucaowan) - 红城 (hongcheng) = 18,4km
What a bad night: not only had there been at least a dozen fat flies buzzing around my room, using my nose as a landing strip - but I had also had some obnoxious neighbors next door who liked to drop in whenever they pleased to take a look at the funny foreigner.
Damn.
So I basically fell out of bed this morning when old Granny busted in the door for some obscure reason.
Time for me and my dizzy head to wade out into the green:
I didn’t take that many pictures today, mainly because I didn’t really feel like it somehow.
Too drowsy.
But I did notice that some people were out there picking rose buds off the bushes:
Lots and lots of pink dots:
Kind of cheered me up.
…and so did the old dudes who were hanging out in front of a small grocery store:
…or the little friend who seemed to find me somewhat suspicious:
Tonight’s hotel is a lot calmer than the last one - it seems like I’m their only guest.
And I haven’t seen or heard a single person within the last three hours - yay!!
