what am I going to call this one?
Saturday, May 3rd, 2008day 177: å…°å·ž (Lanzhou) = 0km
I’m not sure why, but it was already past four in the afternoon when I eventually made up my mind to go outside.
I had to get some photos fixed on paper to send to some people, so there I was in a small copy shop:
Chinese young people (much like other young people all over the world) LOVE to get their picture taken in all kinds of cute ways:
I was tempted to get one too, but then I remembered my beard and all that and decided to drop the thought.
Instead I went to a massive supermarket and got all kinds of little treats I could never find in the countryside:
To be honest, apart from this whole issue with the shoes, I had been kind of stressed out about some other things as well, lately.
Walking is supposed to help clear up your head, and sometimes it really does, but… recently, not so much.
I wandered long into the night, thinking about stuff:
Thinking about the ticket I had just bought.
I’ll tell you more about that later though.
