I left my stuff at the hotel and went out to ask someone for the way to a cybercafe, because I figured it was raining and my feet hurt anyway, so I might as well rest up and do some maintenance on the site.

I found some guys who were standing around looking idle, and sure enough they knew how to point to the nearest cybercafe.

But they wouldn’t let me off just like that.

“Wait, my friend here has a question!” said one of the dudes, and then his friend smiled and asked me: “May I ask how old you are?”

“27 this year,” I replied. They all started laughing.

I thought I had an idea what was so funny: “I know, I do look a bit older with the beard and all, just how old did you think I was?”

“Hihihi,” the third one giggled: “we figured you were like 45 or something!”

WTF??

Well anyways, I did what I had set out to do - hanging out in the bad air and the dim light of a place filled with pale people:

You see, usually I wouldn’t even mind that much, but today I was only wearing my slippers.

…all day I tried to drink as little as possible, just so I wouldn’t have to come back here.
